On Friday Cindi (our metrology engineer Mike's wife) brought young son Jack past the Mirror Lab for a visit. He was born on Thanksgiving, so has just passed 4.5 months. Normally, infants take a look at me and start crying - likely because of my beard, so it was nice for a change to have Jack eye me with detached curiosity with nary a tear in sight. Looks like Dad has him desensitized to beards...Is it me or does he resemble the baby star from the '30s Swee'Pea???
